Anyone who calls Belltown home knows what it is like to live the cosmopolitan lifestyle, with streets buzzing with diverse cultures, endless entertainment, and spectacular views. What if in the midst of the urban jungle, existed a space for set aside for the Gospel?
At Coastline Church, our urban identity draws us even closer to value and Practice The Way of Jesus.
Anywhere you are in the world, development is a double-edged sword. We are in an era where high-rise buildings reach toward the sky, concrete roads wind for miles, and businesses serve you 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The “good life.”
All these conveniences are available in Belltown, and we are undeniably thriving. However, the same progress also leaves the Christian faith struggling to find its place in the frenzy. With distractions everywhere, one can quickly lose track of the way of Jesus. Eventually, the “good life” brings spiritual restlessness, a void that only God can fill.
Our desire to be a church in Belltown comes down to being a kind of spiritual oasis for those thirsty for spiritual nourishment. It may not be as high as the Space Needle or as booming as the nightlife establishments, but it leads you to where you are supposed to be in the presence of Christ by the power of the Spirit. If you are new to the neighborhood and seeking the presence of the Lord, know that our family in Belltown is ready to welcome you.
Coastline Church was established in 2019. Brice and Tracey, feeling called by the Spirit, planted a community of faith in the Belltown area. Both grew up in different cities but crossed paths at Baylor University, where they shared the vision of becoming like Jesus.
Coastline Church has a community that constantly reminds everyone of what “the good life” really means. Modernity is now the world’s standard, but Christianity remains the true north. In our Belltown church, we keep doing what Jesus did, never letting the noise drown the voice of the Good Shepherd.
Our Discipleship Pathway enables you to return to the solace God always provides. We spend Sunday mornings and nights praising Him, gathering with our pastors for classes and meals, and supporting our brothers and sisters in all ways and times possible.
“I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.” Jeremiah 24:7
