Is Coastline a Non-Denominational Community?

If you are in search of a Christian community in Seattle that shares your faith in Jesus, we’d to love to invite you to Coastline Church.

At Coastline Church, we believe in Practicing the Way of Jesus.

We like to say that we "feel" like a Non-Denominational Church

Coastline Church is a Free Methodist Church, but visit us on a Sunday, and you’d never really know that.

Why is that? Churches like Coastline Church, that have a non-denominational “feel” are attempting to contextually represent a blending of many different faith backgrounds, and in that diversity, many different denominations are represented.

The reason we “feel” non-denominational at Coastline Church is for the purposes of meeting all the needs of the people represented in our particular community, without isolating those who come from different faith backgrounds or denominational backgrounds.

Most denominations approach Christianity in meaningful ways that align with their convictions about how faith should be practiced. Denominations today represent the differences in mostly practice, with minimal theological differences in comparison to the early church.
