Seattle is a city full of life. You can find many career opportunities, cultural hubs, outdoor activities, and wonderful neighborhoods here. It’s no wonder that almost 760,000 people call the city home. But what if the feeling of being “at home” is not in the corners of your house, office, or favorite restaurants? What if it could be found in a community like our church?
Whether you’re looking for purpose through Jesus for the first time or are a longtime follower of Jesus, we’re here not just as a church but as a community of people that will embrace you wherever you are in the faith journey.
We like to believe that most Christian church communities have a unique calling or a purpose, or really, a vision or mission; for our church in Seattle, as a Christian based community, we seek help people Practice the Way of Jesus.
Lead Pastor, Brice Sanders, and his wife Tracey, met at Baylor University in Waco, Texas before moving to Seattle, Washington. In 2019, the Holy Spirit guided them to establish Coastline Church in the Belltown neighborhood to help people be with Jesus, become more like Him, and live out His teachings.
Through our Rule of Life, which is focused on an individual’s spiritual formation, we encourage individuals to give their whole life to Him. Together, we take the steps that put us on a pathway of discipleship and spiritual growth beyond the church walls and beyond our time in Seattle.
John wrote in his letter, 1 John 2:6 NIV, “Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” Together let’s be with Jesus, become more like Him, and live out His teachings.
At Coastline Church, we urge you to be intentional with your choices in life. We are a place that calls you into new life-giving habits and practices based on the life of Jesus. Many people will ask: How do I become more like Jesus? This is why we have our Rule of Life; it serves as a guide to what those habits and practices could be.

As a Seattle-based Christian church, at Coastline Church we turn to our Rule of Faith to guide our community towards sound Biblical beliefs. Every intentional choice we make points toward God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. With the Bible as our supreme source of truth, we are human beings striving to be the men and women that God designed us and called us to be.
We are committed and believe in the Biblically based historic Christian teachings on gender and sexuality. We rely on God to understand and reach the LGBTQI+ community, condemning all forms of hatred and discrimination.

Have you embraced your unique passions and are looking to use them to serve with purpose? The Dream Team is where you belong. Our volunteers from the First Impressions Team welcome people before every service while the Operations Team prepares the church.
We also have the Kids Team that fills appropriate age-based kids’ classrooms with joy and compassion and a Production Team that makes our church happenings smooth sailing. If praying for people is your strength, the Prayer Partner Team is your place.
Coastline Church is growing by God’s grace, and we gather in small groups to get to know each other better as brothers and sisters in Christ. Our relaxed Small Group sessions define community, allowing us to learn about Jesus together.
Explore the greatest story ever told and discover your role in it. We help believers read the Bible within a year with our Read Scripture app and Reading Plan. Our Reading Accountability and Personal Bible Study Groups make Biblical literacy attainable and transformative.
The spiritual formation of children is Coastline Church’s utmost priority. Our program is a relaxed way to introduce Jesus to the youth, with fun and safe classrooms for reading the Bible, praying, and making friends. We use the Gospel Project as our primary curriculum.
Our volunteers care for your infants, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary-aged children while you attend our worship services or Small Group sessions. You can also visit our Parent Viewing Room, where a Nursery Team is ready to give you a breather.
“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.” Psalm 127:3-4
Baptism is a public declaration of an inward transformation. It symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When you or a loved one chooses to be baptized, you’re expressing your commitment to follow Jesus and embracing the new life He offers.
At Coastline Church, we follow the example of Jesus by practicing full-immersion water baptism — an act that shows you’re leaving behind the old life and stepping into a renewed relationship with Christ.
